The Apollo A4/6 speaker stands are supplied flat-packed with 6mm floor spikes plus neoprene speaker pads to ensure a good acoustic contact with speaker. It's why Apollo use heavy gauge steel supports and sheet steel bases to increase rigidity and stability. It's why adjustable isolation spikes come as standard, as do sound-absorbing neoprene pads. The A4/6's are a durable; four column design of tubular steel provides a solid foundation for your speakers. Very rigid, high quality, medium mass support, that can be sand or shot filled for extra mass.
