Liberty Acoustics LA-1

Any audio or home theater system starts with the power that is delivered to it, and the Liberty Acoustics LA-1 power cable is the most important improvement that can be made to your power delivery system. Don’t just think “power cable”, think power cable to the max!

The LA-1 contains three, 10 awg conductors that are wound with 1,386 strands of exceptionally pure, silver-coated OFC copper that are separated from each other by cotton fibers. These very high performance conductors are spiraled tightly in order to utilize an ultra low inductance. Resting above the conductors is a copolymer dialectic that helps to reduce incoming differential-mode noise, be it entering through the power line or from your neighbor’s vacuum or refrigerator next door. There is also a double-shielded construction, first of which is a dense braid of tin and copper, and the second shield has a layer of conductive foil and a drain wire. Both shields work together to provide complete immunity to both low and high frequency noise. A binder wrap sits over the second shield and finally over the binder you have the jacket.

A power cable is only as good as the plugs that are on it and the LA-1 is terminated with high quality, high performance Oyaide connects the P-037 power plug and C-037 IEC connector. Both the P-037 and C-037 have super thick (1.5micron) silver plating directly on twice polished surface of blade finished off with a final Rhodium plating (0.3micron). They are made out of mainly deoxidized Phosphorus Bronze (1.4mm thick) for strength and secure contact. The P-037 when connected, can take over 7kg load while the C-037 pull strength of the blade receiving part and the cable is 30kg and more.
