Oyaide C-037

The Oyaide C-037 IEC Connector has super thick (1.5micron) Silver plating directly on polished surface of receptacle.  The basic material is deoxidized Phosphorus Bronze (1.4mm thick) for strength and secure contact. When connected, they can take over 7kg load. Pull strength of the blade receiving part and the cable is 30kg and more... This is a result of considering the safety side enough. Polishing process again (twice) on the silver plated surface, and then applied final Rhodium plating (0.3micron). Combination and thicknesses of plating represent the final sound character. Quality of polishing process influences the sound quality.

The body and outer casing are made out of high density PBT with 30% Glass filler mixed in for rigidity, stability against heat and high resonance absorption factor. Polycarbonate.
