Saxon C700

The all new Saxon C700 is probably the most flexible 6 channel remote controllable Pre-amp currently available. With it's unique user selectable, high or low gain, a six channel AV/MCA input and output facility with built in master control over all six channels simultaneously, plus a fully balanced CD input and main Left and Right outputs. This is a remarkable product.

All inputs are relay selected and it is also possible to add an outboard DC PSU at a later date. The construction is also unique for a pre-amplifier at this price level with separate PCB's and PSU's for the input and output buffers.

It has a 10mm machined aluminium front panel made from military grade material and a fully turned, one piece volume control for a quality feel. With it's elegant yet robust feel it is at home as the heart of any 2 channel system or as the main controller for an AV system.

As with all Saxon products Two channel performance has not been compromised, in fact when we designed this pre-amp the two channel performance was of paramount importance as we believe that you should be able to listen to music in either 2 or 6 channel mode without sacrificing anything.

With the matching P700 power amplifier the two channel performance attainable from this combination is unbeatable at the price and for AV applications an additional P500/3 channel power amplifier is all that is required to turn this into a high quality multichannel amplifier set up. A full AV, audio only processor will be added to the range towards the end of 2005 which will simply plug into the six channel input thus keeping the digital processing and D/A conversion processes well away from the sensitive all analogue parts of the C700 and ensuring that the two channel performance remains unharmed.
